Osbornomics
While the right wing media, and a huge swathe of WHO, concentrate on defaming Corbyn, our double named chancellor starts to get his excuses in for his woeful performance with the economy.

C&P says it all rather nicely....

Con man George Osborne screeching “Not me, Gov!” is the whine of a spineless Chancer of the Exchequer terrified the game is up.

Blaming everything and everybody except himself for Britain’s faltering economic “recovery” - China, oil, Middle East, that big boy with a stick who ran away - is the spineless politics of a dishonest politician.

Oh my how his tune has changed, not since an election when Osborne deliberately gave the impression we’d be wading knee deep in milk and honey to swindle voters, but also from just before Christmas when, boasted the Treasury chiseller, the country was “growing fast”.

Spewing out alibis for the gathering storm after statisticians cut growth figures will convince only the criminally gullible.

Independent economists have warned for years his self-defeating austerity was disastrous for Britain and permanently harmed prosperity.

A High Street and online spending bubble inflated by private debt was always going to burst.

And let’s never forget that Osborne’s missed his borrowing target by five years and hundreds of billions of pounds, doubling the national debt.

Instead of fixing the roof when the sun was shining the foundations were washed away.

So getting in his excuses first, blaming abroad when he dishonestly mocked Labour for rightly protesting collapsing US banks were partly to blame for the 2008 crisis, is the death rattle of a trembling Chancer.

A8 I don't want the old Blairite Labour back. Enjoying the honesty of Corbyn. And the fact he seriously annoys all the Blairites.

When your lot split in half over Europe and the Blairites split with Corbyn. Maybe Cameron and co could join up with Chuka, Tristan and Hilary. Their bedfellows

Re: Osbornomics
Dapablo of course you're right that anyone and everyone right of Corbyn is that way inclined and the left are the only ones with a social conscience, how old are you 12

I'd return the compliment and advise you to use your brain but that would require you having one

Winstone fair point and both as bad as each other

"can never quite understand the loathing that lefties have for anyone that supports the Tories, a character flaw maybe"

Go on think about it, engage brain and see what happens.

The right are notoriously greedy and selfish it's all about the big I am, whereas the left get abused for their consideration and care of others and a sense of social awareness.

That help at all?

OK - I need enlightening on what it is that is making certain economies "grow" if people within those economies are not spending.

Furnish me, as the WHOing goes. What is growing those economies?

So you've never come across the term 'leftie cunt' then NB? I think the loathing straddles both sides of the spectrum to be honest...

Re: Osbornomics
I can't understand all this doom and gloom! The world's largest economy has started to raise interest rates because of future inflationary pressures cause by strong growth, China still has growth of over 5%, their only problem is that they are learning that you can't control a stock market by state intervention, Germany and the rest of the EU are returning to growth. The UK economy is the strongest it's been for a decade (record new car registrations etc). Fuck me it only costs me half as much as it did to fill my car up and West Ham are 6th, get a grip!!

Re: Osbornomics
Haha in that case keep up the good work, but it's hardly difficult on WHO, more like shooting fish in a barrel. Too many lemmings on WHO that believe any shit they're served up by the party of their leaning, winstone and A8 spring to mind

They deserve each other

Re: Osbornomics

I dont have any ill will against people who voted tory.

In fact the only Tory voter I wanted to have a go at was that bird on QT who voted for them and then had a cry over Tax credit cuts.

I just like stirring the pot every so often..

Whoicidal why on earth do you need to "flush" anyone out, are you making a list?

I copy every little tidbit of information on WHOers and cross reference it so I can keep a track of who's who on WHO...especially the Tory boys...and yeah, they need a flushin'

Yes agree they are not doing a bad job and I am not blind to what is happening around the world.
I just think things do not have to be so prudent as things have been pretty steady in the UK, though you will say that is because the government have not over spent.
It just seems we are promised things will improve but they never do and other cuts come in all we see is that we are steady and strong but without feeling it in our pockets.

Grats to the OP for flushing out all the Tories with just a few sentences. I dont know if this was a fishing trip but they certainly did bite.

Willtell 7:02 Fri Jan 8
Re: Osbornomics
The OP was crowing from Labour about how the economy is not doing as well as it was hoped to. Is that the government cuts or would you prefer a Labour government that would be likely to borrow more?

Gideon's warning to the country was about how most of the major world's economies are doing badly with the exception of America and UK of course...

I get and totally understand that their is no choice they have to keep things slightly tight I just think they are over doing it and that things are not as bad as we are lead to believe.
Economy is a funny thing and you probably know more than I about how it all works, but the Poor and middle classes need to spend for it to budge and I think they are getting hit too hard its been tight belts for quite some time now and the conservatives have been promising something that is not happening or maybe they are not able to create.

Well actually I don't think he is. He & Cameron keeps telling us that they are pumping more and more £bns into the NHS every year. Councils only waste the £bns they raise in rates anyway.
